Are YOU Paying Too Much Tax?

Over  1.9million employees across Britain have taken advantage of a specialist service that tells them if their employer has been made to take too much tax off their wages.

So far, these employees have got back over £123million in tax refunds after more than 1 in 3 employees discovered HMRC had sent their employer the wrong tax codes and caused them to pay too much tax.

For over 26 years, Tax Refund Company has provided taxpayers with this FREE tax code review to see if they have paid too much tax. As you can see, it’s been extremely successful.

Very few employees thought they would get money back when they started using the service. They assumed HMRC automatically sent their employer the right tax code and their employers would have noticed if HMRC didn’t.

Do not assume that because you are employed, you automatically pay the right tax. HMRC tells the Trust your tax code and the Trust uses the code to work out how much tax to take off you, so it’s important YOU make sure yours is correct.  If you haven’t done this, there’s a good chance you will have paid too much tax.

This service checks to make sure HMRC has given you the correct tax code for this year, as well as the past 4 years and gets your money back off HMRC where you’ve been charged too much tax.

The main points you need to note are…

  • The service makes sure you haven’t paid more tax than necessary in the past 4 years
  • You can’t lose  – if you are not owed any money, it’s entirely FREE
  • If you are, for every £1 of overpaid tax you get back, you keep 62p (min. fee £38)
  • In the very rare case you are found to owe tax, ONLY you are told, NOT HMRC
  • If you get an unexpected tax bill from HMRC as a direct result of using this service, The Tax Refund Company will pay the tax bill for you. (T&C’s apply)
  • This is a totally confidential service between you and The Tax Refund Company
